Paro Tshechu is among Bhutan’s most popular festivals, attracting both locals and visitors. The highlight is the unfurling of the Thongdrel (giant religious scroll) in the early morning, believed to cleanse viewers of sins. The festival showcases dramatic masked dances set against the stunning Paro valley.
