Trongsa Tshechu is one of Bhutan's most important cultural festivals, held at the historic Trongsa Dzong. The festival honors Guru Rinpoche, the great saint who introduced Tantric Buddhism throughout the Himalayan region.

Visitors can experience sacred mask dances performed by monks, traditional music, colorful costumes, Buddhist rituals, and the unfurling of a sacred Thangka that is believed to bring blessings and cleanse sins.

Trongsa Tshechu Festival Journey

Day 1 - 3
